We’ve had continuous meetings for the past little bit. We were able to meet with Mayor Ricky Shelton and City Councilman, Dwight Henry. They are helping us make new contacts and have given us several so far.We have big plans in place for 2018! The Upper Cumberland Community Interact Club will be selling our merchandise

We’ve got plenty going on at CFH this month! We’ve been able to provide two more veterans with housing this month, complete with furniture. We’ve also assisted in getting veterans their ID’s and Social Security cards. Thanks to donations, we were also able to help one veteran get back home to bury a loved one.

CFH thanks Shoe Sensation of Cookeville for their ‘Socks 4 Troops and Veterans’ campaign where they raised donations and collected socks for our homeless veterans. The $100.00 raised was able to help a veteran and her family get the power turned on in their new home.

After posting about the Thanksgiving dinner provided by O’Charleys and Miss K, a generous donor, and a veteran herself, decided she wanted to help by providing a family with a deposit and six months of rent for a home of their own. We were able to surprise the couple with the news at the Cookeville Rescue

Dr. Michael Solly, D.D.S. and his staff at Knoxville Smile Center provided free dental care for Community For Heroes in November.  Dr. Solly and his team performed over $12,500 of procedures for our veterans at no cost. These procedures provided pain relief for a number of our veterans, improving their daily life. The Smile Center

WOOLY’S CLUBHOUSE May 20, 2017 Cookeville, Tennessee is hosting a fundraiser for  Community For Heroes on May 20th. HOT ROD and MOTORCYCLE show, $5 dollars per vehicle. Also there will be live entrainment @ 1pm by MARTY PITTMAN & BROTHER RAIINES. BBQ  @ 12pm util gone $5 per plate. DART & CORNHOLE tournament @ 2pm $5 to enter.
